Fear not, oh wise one; the AP RSS feeds are alive and well and available for download from the corporate site (www.ap.org).

What was disabled was a "generic" version of the feeds, where the underlying stories appeared on an AP-branded page. We elected to continue the RSS program, but deliver the traffic to members that use the AP Web news service.

So, when you grab a RSS feed from the corporate site, you will get a member-branded version of the report for the underlying stories.

This has been the behavior for some time, but earlybirds who grabbed the feeds when they first were made available earlier this year may have gotten the generic url. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please return and re-up with the member versions.

Google is now offering RSS feeds, so everything is going to be okie dokie on the flip side of reality fella.

CorpseNet is working up a RSS feed. Google won't talk to them about it.

CorpseNet: Because the news is too important to be left to the living. Now with ZombieAlert.

Rodrigo: I am subscribed to both of those feeds, as well, in NetNewsWire, and both are still working great for me. *shrug*

Me too. No feed, if I click through I get the member map. I was subscribed to two feeds, Top Int'l and Top US. Both busted. Woe!

Is it NetNewswire or NewNewsWire? I hope there is a fix. I will miss these feeds.

Update: Unlike my earlier comment, I now no longer get any updates on the AP feeds to which I've subscribed.

I think they must be working on something that will do a better job of re-routing their feed click-throughs to an AP member site. But in tinkering with it, they are throwing some of us off -- perhaps those of us who don't have a cookie placed correctly. I still get the headline feed. It just doesn't take me anywhere but to an error page.

Speaking of RSS feeds that get broken when sites get moved: Buzzmachine's RSS feed has been broken--for me at least--since you changed platforms. If I delete the previous version and re-add it to my RSS reader, it comes in for one day--and then disappears again. I want my RSS Jarvis fix!

Hmmm....I copied that URL straight out of my NetNewsWire drawer. Clicking on it gets me a map, but my subscription is working great with that address. Weird. Sorry I don't have more of a clue....
