Once when I was heavily doing professional web designing a contractor made me design a website, and then put his own name in the credits. It especially mattered because it was one of the Rotary websites. A few of my hackers friends helped me and we were able to change the credits. Many a time people have used my content without paying me the remaining amount after paying an advance. Hmm...I guess this is how the normal business world works. Well, this sounds familiar. If so, then they got screwed, but if not they just advanced too much information before signing; bad move for a VC.
