		<description>Well, I know the publishing business, and he&#039;s probably giving this novel away because no one would publish it.  It doesn&#039;t matter that he&#039;s been publishing for years.  If it&#039;s fiction but it&#039;s not serious fiction or a thriller or a mystery or sci-fi or chick lit, if it&#039;s just light entertainment, there&#039;s no market anymore.  

I agree -- the print book is in some trouble. But this guy is trying to conceal his failure to produce what the market can still sell by insisting that he&#039;s seen the future; it&#039;s a line of bull, and he sold it to The New York Times, which swallows a lot of lines of bull.</description>
