Jay Allen points us to a ludicrous bit of legislating: an effort to pass a tax and regulation on internet pornography, requiring users to give credit cards and a 25 percent tax. Of course, the question is: What is pornography and who knows it when he sees it?

If I were a pornographer, I would love a .1% to a 1% tax on my product so that it can be seen as good, normal, and mainstream like alcohol and cigarettes (which both kill people).
Think of the sales increase.
