Has anyone done a study on the benefits os the citizen action groups that spring up after a disaster.  I imagine it will be a few years in the future before we can start really seeing the benefits os this.  With people making googloe maps that show damage to college students setting up databases in the shelters like ethan speaks of above.  Even if the Govt is slow...the blogosphere is making sure people find there familys
