Where’s Shep?

Haven’t seen Shepard Smith on Fox since he quite rightly vented his anger at Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity. Hope they just gave him a day off because of his heroic and nonstop work. As soon as Shep left, the talk turned rosier on Fox.

: UPDATE: Shep’s in New York in a suit. Glad he had a day off. Glad he’s back. And his work in Nola made him a must-watch for me.

Yeah, I also saw Shep’s gutsy refusal to let O’reilly cut him off, and his similar performance with Hannity. Glad others noticed.

  2. Robert says:

Maybe the Mayor of New Orleans will send him to Las Vegas.

Wherever he is, I hope he’s getting some sleep.

    On Letterman tonight!

Lets face, odds are they sent him back to the GOP Talking Points re-education camp.

He actually was peeved at BOR on Thursday night, too, so it’s not like there’s anything behind this. In fact, that night I thought he was almost more fiery at times, telling Bill “you’re not here” when O’Reilly was going on about the fact that “New Orleans will be rebuilt, we’ll definitely do that.”

Shower, shave, new suit — and heavily medicated.

    He’s a good man, really.

  8. Jerri says:

I missed Shep too! I don’t watch Fox but now after Katrina I will but only Shep. Plus he’s hot. Any man that passionate is sexy.

  9. Chris G. says:

Shep is a good guy. The only good guy on Fox really.

Saw him a little while ago. He looks like he got some sleep.

Not sure Shep is that good of a guy. Check his mugshot on the Smoking Gun website.

But he’s gained a lot of respect from me, still, for whatever that’s worth.

    Did I miss something?

For people unfamiliar with Shepard Smith trying to tell what is really happening in New Orleans while Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity try to minimize it, go here:
