In fact, when spam control goes active, postings aren't published anymore, but are withheld for a decision of the blog owner (that's JJ, of course). Since JJ dutifully publishes every single one of those delayed comments, that leads to some inflation. Sry, not my fault. Personally, I would prefer to delete some redundant entires in favor of a shorter thread...
