i used to be one of their feeds last year. in fact they had me as their Daily Read for most of it.

and even though my hits doubled during the duration of time i was with them – they dropped me at the end of the contract. perhaps because of what EverKarl alluded to combined with the fact that during the elections last year i was in no way supportive of Bush’s re-election.

was i pro-kerry? not really. up until a week before the election i was gonna vote nader. still, it didnt matter, because i was anti-bush that was probably reason enough for them to drop me. live and learn.

Actually, ODuhhhhb occasionally posts at DU, making the circle complete.

I link to DU occasionally from TLB, KC, and BA. Most of the time it’s to make fun of them, but occasionally they do have some informative link collections. And, unlike most others, they’re also skeptical of the Katrina body count.

Its been around for a year now…we’ve written about it a few times. From what I know, SBC is paying about $300 a month to these sites to get their headlines..that wa slast year..might have increased that sum now.
SBC says it “is designed to provide a platform to promote the communication medium called blogging and connect the creators of the content to a wider audience.”..that was last yera..i’m sure they improved on the wording since then

Oh, it gets better. Based on what I've seen at some of the D.U.-affiliated music blogs, it's only a matter of time before some lefty trolls stop by to note that SBC gives twice as much money to the GOP as it does to the Dems. Further proof that JJ has been bought by Chimpy McHitlerburton and his eeeeeeeeeevil corporate cabal. So be ready for that little bit of barking.

I guess they never heard of DemocraticUnderground.com or they’re trying to bask in the glorious glow of that highly reputable site.

Phwoar! Plus, SBC D.U. doesn’t seem to have any political content, whereas that’s what the HuffPost is mostly all about.
