whats better for me is there are far fewer commercials, and people can speak normally without worrying about pretending that there are pre-schoolers in the room.
yes there has been a fair amount of swearing with the new freedom but i imagine that that will die down once the novelty of their lack of restraints fades away.
but the songs are better and the phony phone calls are better since no one has to be beeped.
My transformation to this new outreach medium is mesmerizing…the 4-6 hours that I listen to Howard, vanishes remarkably faster than before, it’s that good and really fresh– I never believed I would enjoy the cross programming on his 100 and 101 channels, but I do…plus I have found other siriuscasters like Jay Thomas, Meg Griffin, the many news/npr channels and whew! there goes another 4-6hrs, happily…sadly however, I admit but I listen less than an hour/day to reg am/fm though I still read the paper, mags, books, blogs..I don’t know where all this is heading. .. Actually, nobody really knows where all this is heading! Who cares, just enjoy….because, it’s the ride! the dam mesmerizing ride! that”s what it’s all about…and why not, we’re all going to die and we ain’t take anything with us, so excuse me while I roll down the window and enjoy the freshness of this ride….
