I said that McClatchy would not get the same multiple for the papers they sold as they did for their purchase of Knight Ridder. I was wrong. Maybe they should just sell the rest and pocket the profit.

McClatchy may be starting out with good financial leverage, but so far, I’m not impressed. By the way, just to insure no grumbling blowback, they gave Tony Ridder a seat on their board. Both newspapers in South Florida are almost ready for the bottom of the birdcage. They’re in a race to the parrot’s feet.
Nice to see you priactice what you preach. How much would it help the MSM, especially TV news, if corrections felt less minimalist, vague and grudging (or heck, existed at all)? I don’t know, but I think a lot.
Jeff,
is it possible to make the ad a little bit smallersmaller? it is taking over the content, mostly in the shorter posts.
Thanks

Exactly Jeff! And the ad is useless wen the post is so motivational and inspirational.
