Computer hacks
Comment is Free had me write a post about Thomson’s news stories made by computer. A commenter comes up with the blog comment algorithm. For example:
Put one keyword in, say ‘CIF’ from the top of this page, and you get the following, ready for use almost anywhere on CIF:“This is a deeply offensive piece. It all comes down to how the Israelis/Palestinians started all of this in 256BC/1917/1948/1967/2000. To deny this is deeply anti-semitic/rabidly Zionist/Islamophobic. Only what I expect to read on this bigotted site lately.”

That doesn’t sound like a blog comment. How about something like this.
“Enough with these fucking [insert noun] bastards. If they’re too stupid to see how their hatred harms America, they should all just be put in fucking camps and shot. I’m serious, let’s start rounding them up now. That’s the only way to deal with assholes who don’t respect other people’s opinions.”
That should pretty much blend right in at Kos, Atrios, DU, The Nation, etc.
