[...] BuzzMachine » Blog Archive » F****d 2.0: everyone should read this post. That being said, I think what is happening now is a bit different than the first bubble, because it is not so much a bubble born out of the “newness” of the media itself, but the “newness” of the concept of People as Product. However, People as Product doesn’t translate to a business. And the fact that the machine around Web++/2.0 is feeding itself (that oroboros again) means that when there is a mass of failures, the bottom is pulled out from everyone. [...]

I've got a deal for venture capitalists. Invest in Mythusmage Opines and you won't have to worry about your rate of return. There is none. You can send me any amount of money you want to, and you won't see any of it back.

No worries about what happens to your money. No concerns about its impact on your bottom line. It's all wasted! And since Mythusmage Opines is not a charity of any kind, you get no tax break.

Send in pennies. Send in c-notes. No matter what you send you'll never see it again.

Web 2.1, where at least we're honest about what happens to your cash.

[...] A post on mobilecrunch regarding 3jam got me thinking. Where is the business ? Ok its a cute site with more MBA’s onboard than Bank of America but text messages have a cost factor to send. Our company can buy them wholesale @ around 3 cents so if a person has 10 friends and you have 10k of these people online every day texting, well you catch my drift. There are a bunch of these out there at the moment Mozes really beautiful people Twitter Cmon guys what am I missing ? Am I turning into a skeptic or is it just Fuc*** as Jarvis said today ? Technorati Tags: 3jam, buzz machine, dead20, free roaming, Jeff Jarvis, mobilecrunch, mozes, pat phelan, roam4free, roaming charges, twitterShare and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
