AT&T is offering a set of TV channels over broadband and not just to subscribers to its broadband. It’s a mediocre set of channels, but nevermind: This is another sign of content being freed from distribution.
: On the other hand: Sprint announces that it is creating its own programming for its own mobile customers. Here we go again. I can’t choose between mobile providers based on their content. When I pay for connectivity, I want access to whatever I want wherever it is. Let’s not build more fences, folks.

Thanks, Jeff, for linking to an article that I have to pay for to read. Nothing like the unrestricted flow of ideas, is there?
And while we’re at it — we’re linked to an article you have to pay to read about a new service to have to pay to see which ironically, Jeff describes as being “freed.”
Nice try but again, the only thing “exploding” here is my wallet.
