Small budgets and small audiences aside, it's still a great pleasure - when it works - to see a team of professionals at the top of their game put together a high-budget, network tentpole show. I wouldn't wish a smaller budget on NBC's "Heroes" for all the "Lonelygirl15"s or "Brookers" in the world. Mega-budget shows with wide appeal still have their place on the spectrum, and networks shouldn't stop trying to make them - they just need to explore other options as well.
