Martha Stewart’s company projects is generating a third of its earnings from online — a higher proportion than other media companies I know.

they said it would be 1/3 in 2010.

And that at present online revs are about 5% of total, with online earnings in the red.

The Norwegian media house Schibsted gets a lot of its money from online activities (especially from the online classified advertising site finn.no, which in their accounts is lumped in with the main newspapers). They were recently written up in The Economist for that very reason, as one of the few media companies that have made the transition to an online world pretty well. One quirk of the Swedish and Norwegian media market is that existing media companies have lead the way online.
