Cops in Canada and the U.K. use YouTube to try to get evidence in investigations. Another example of crowdsourcing, but then good police work always has been. So we’re dispatched not only to report but also to get their man.

Well, since rights abuse watchdogs have been using YouTube to post videos of police brutality, I suppose turnabout is fair play. Anybody dumb enough to film themselves committing a crime and then post it on YouTube… well, that’s just natural selection at work.
