Small TV on small TV

Last night, ABCNews.com called asking for me to make a video at home with comment on AppleTV. I taped it, edited it, and FTPed it in and now here is the finished product.

Dang, that link resizes the browser…it’s probably meant to be a popup link from another page. Sorry, hate it when I hit one of these links.

Like nearly all web-delivered multimedia, the actual clip is blocked by the corporate firewall. But the ad wasn’t …

Nice work on that video! Did I miss something. Did ABC miss something? Or was their MSM bias (or perhaps fear) showing just a bit?

ABC runs a segment about how new appliances and internet video products are changing the industry and the way we get our content. They include a video that was shot and edited by someone in their home, that was of such a high quality you couldn’t really tell a difference between it and the ABC product in was included in, yet ABC fails to mention this fact.

They could have had a “gotcha” moment with the audience. “That video you just watched was created by the author in his home using tools and software available to everyone. Surprised?”

They either missed an opportunity here, or they were scared by the implications.
