Jeff, we missed you at the lunch. Eventually about 50 non-"Huhn" guests made it up the mountain. Next year we'll snowmobile you up.

Sounds like you were on the Jakobshorn. That's where I used to ski when I was growing up in Davos. Hope you nevertheless brought good memories home from Switzerland!

[...] Jeff Jarvis took his Buzzmachine there and was able to give us his world view: “Reuters was holding a lunch party today up at the top of one of the mountains that lords over us here at Davos. I was looking forward to being there and seeing the view, shooting video, eating cheese. But I was not looking forward to the ride. I hate heights. But the promise of wine and cheese got me into the funicular railway and up and up and up we went.” [...]

Ich auch! I feel for you, Jeff, being like you 6'4" and size 12 and highly reluctant to leave terra firma! St. Moritz was often a chellenge, but Mathis' gastronomical delights high up in Corviglia was sufficient temptation to get me on board the occasional swinging gondola!

Does a week go by without me pointing on my blog to something from BuzzMachine? It does not. Don't think it ever will. Thanks for your insights.

Hey, you made a fine story out of it. I was scared just hearing about the Gondola which is reminding me of the scary ride up Aiguille du Midi at Mount Blanc.
