OpenAds is certainly an interesting concept, but what publishers really want is assurances of value, relevancy - and advertisers and revenues - as being available through it.

So far the great statistics given seem to skip past these details, which are so important for publishers.

At present, Adsense is the only real viable contextual ad program available for UK publishers - what UK publishers want to know is how OpenAds can help give them choice.

I'm evaluating a switch to OpenAds soon after two years with BlogAds. For me it offers a better, more direct relationship with my advertisers. As a small niche blog I see this as good for both of us. I'll still keep my Adsense, but I'll never get the attention from them that I need so it will always be a supplement.
