		<description>Jeff - nice idea, but I wonder if the "articles" plugin for wordpress from Alex King would also do the trick. It pulls posts out of the blog chronology and allows you to link to them in a different section/menu. You can even further organize the "articles" into different categories. Essentially it just gives you a way to create a seperate menu.

In any case, the plugin is quite nice. And of course you wouldn't have to call the section "articles."
