Nagourney's statement about youth not finding the 46-year-old Obama parental made me smile. When I was 46, my eldest child was 23. She considered me ancient, I'm sure. And parental, too.

I actually wrote a similar piece to this, also outlining how Nagourney had his facts wrong about youth turnout and emailed Nagourney raising all of these points. He blew me off, so good luck on getting that discussion.

You can read my blog post about it here:

cue up: Bend Me Shape Me

I'm wondering why Hillary decided to land in New York, post Washington.

I think because its the perceived headquarters of the world. I hope the rest of America is not asleep at the vote in Nov08. As much as you all in NY NY think you run the world, ie public thoughts and financial leaching, we feed you with labor, food and those cash derivatives.

We need a computer program that runs in the background. Analyzes words for manipulation.
NO - really we voters need the ability to make horse track policy, elect a jocky who follows orders and is supported by a party horse (donkey, elephant, unicorn).

I think human thought is more sophisticated these days. Straighten up and evolve with the population, please.

You ever think you might be in the wrong line of work, Jeff? I mean...you have a good appreciation of SUBSTANCE, but you're really kind of stuck in this 'meta-journalism' gig... journaling about journalism... Am I detecting a subconscious wish to get back to the nuts & boltz of hard news reporting on your part, or am I just imagining that...?
