A note to Don:

Have you ever wondered WHY you continue to see that annoying guy over and over, selling exercise equipment? That's because he's selling large quantities of exercise equipment and making money. People watch, become engaged and call the toll-free number with credit cards in hand. You may be looking for less amps in your life; most people aren't.

Gary V is genuine and it comes through. Observe. He is on the verge of becoming fabulously wealthy and world famous.

This guy is as annoying as that Tony guy who sells exercise equipment on TV. I don't need people yelling at me. I am looking for less amps in my life, not more.

I agree this was a good session. I noticed a theme of "how do we monetize our vlogs" from the questions that were asked of the panelists. As a long-time publishing exec (before being recruited to the healthcare industry recently) and one-time vlogger, I can tell budding bloggers and vloggers that there are PLENTY of advertisers out there that are interested in your growing audiences.

From working in publishing I can report there are hundreds of publishers looking for niche websites to advertise those books with. You can literally scoop up these publisher/advertisers upat the Book Expo of America annual conference, but does the average vlogger know this, of course not.

Gary V gave great advice - go out an get it, advertising that is. Vloggers need to spend 20 percent less time networking among their own kind and instead reach out to the capitalists with the money. There are a lot of us lurking around SXSW, but you just have to look for us.
