Why is anyone paying $30 million for a bunch of reporters and editors? Do they have the traffic to justify that? Look at what alleyinsider.com has done in just a year with a handful of smart correspondents. 6 people x $150K per FTE and you have paidcontent for a helluva lot less than $30 million. Suckas!

Couldn't agree more. Both very highly regarded media companies, and as you point out, Rafat and his team just 'get it.' Given the all the industry blogs out there, PaidContent has really paved the way for a new generation of journalists who can not only survive, but flourish in the new, connected world.

Jeff: For a second there I thought you were reporting that BOTH paidcontent and Indeed.com were getting acquired today.
