School’s in

I continue to neglect you, blog family, because I am in the final (I hope) throes of editing the book and school just began. I spoke to the new class yesterday in the start of the interactive journalism class. Here are my notes:

    Jeff,
    like the slideshow. One answer to “editor, doing what exactly?” I think this has become a position for a super creative person who knows what is out there in terms of programming, development, applications, AND what is not out there to guide your in house operations.

    The only person I can think of that is doing this right now is Rob Curley with the Las Vegas Sun.

    Simply amazing isn’t it…the blogdaddy has nothing to say about the Dems convention…about the amazing speeches by HRC, BC, Obama…has nothing to say about the stupid veep choice by McCain…but find the time to say that a Category 4 hurricane headed towards NO is a *good* thing for McCain because Bush won’t be attending the convention….are you friggin kidding me!!! They don’t make journalism professors like they used to.
