Generating paying customers in the internet paradigm lends itself more to online marketing than &quot;advertising&quot;.  I anticipate that ad revenues will fall hard this year, especially for general interest news site.  This money will not return with an economic rebound.  

Who Will Succeed?
Businesses that shift their primary revenue stream away from simple display advertising towards 1) Sponsorships 2) Partnerships 3) unconventional ad systems like The Deck 4) businesses that embrace marketing as advertising like this</description>
