Since you mentioned it! I have a funny yardstick for hotel travel. When I can afford to travel nicely, I always check to see if a place uses Financial Times or USAT as their courtesy paper. It shows what kind of guests will be screeching up and down the hall. (FT = quiet visit. USA Today = families and noisy breakfasts in the restaurant.)
